Communication strategyfor mission-ledorganisations

I help nonprofits, foundations, CSR teams and other mission-led organisations bring clarity and structure to communication that has become scattered as they grow or change.

The Gap

When communicationstops keeping pace

The organisation is introduced differently across decks, proposals and meetings.

The website, reports and presentations do not always tell the same story.

Different team members describe the organisation in different ways.

The communication calendar is full, but not always connected to organisational priorities.

Gaatha brings these pieces together—clarifying the story, setting priorities and creating communication tools the team can continue using.

Approach

Four ways I help bringcommunication into focus

I bring senior judgment and practical structure to four areas of communication.

01

Clarify the story

Strengthen how your organisation, programmes and impact are explained across websites, decks, reports and stakeholder communication.

02

Set communication priorities

Decide what needs to be communicated, to whom and when—across donors, partners, teams, leadership, campaigns and key organisational moments.

03

Strengthen stories and proof

Identify the stories, data, photographs, testimonials and proof points your organisation needs to collect and use more consistently.

04

Equip your team

Create practical structures, templates and guidance that internal teams, writers, designers and partner agencies can understand and execute.

How I can help

I can support a broad communication need or a focused organisational priority.

Communication Reviews

I review existing communication to identify what is working, what has become unclear or inconsistent, and what needs attention first.

This can include: websites, decks and reports; fundraising and stakeholder communication; social media, newsletters and campaigns; internal communication and how teams describe the organisation.

Story and Content

I help organisations clarify their core story and develop selected content for important communication needs.

This can include: core story and key messages; organisation, programme and geography explainers; impact snapshots and case stories; story-gathering and testimonial guidance; writing or rewriting for priority materials.

Communication Planning

I turn organisational priorities into a practical communication plan that teams can use and carry forward.

This can include: annual communication blueprints; stakeholder communication plans; content priorities and calendars; key organisational moments; team roles, templates and checklists.

Focused Projects

I provide strategic communication support for a specific project, deadline or organisational moment.

This can include: campaign and launch planning; annual report planning and story structure; fundraising communication; leadership and internal communication; website direction; brand and communication playbook guidance.

Outcomes

Better communication should change how theorganisation works—not just how the words sound.

The value of Gaatha is not another polished document that sits unused. It is communication direction your organisation can apply repeatedly.

01

One shared story

Teams and leaders can explain the organisation consistently.

02

Clearer fundraising communication

Stronger asks and material that makes funding needs easier to understand.

03

Less rebuilding from scratch

Stories, data, photographs and proof can be reused across formats.

04

Clearer direction for teams

People know what to communicate, when it matters and who will take it forward.
